My iMac - with a beauty and a brain

Tuesday, January 08, 2008
Some people get attracted when they see only a beautiful face or a hot body. But i get attracted when i see a brilliant mind! No matter its a fat body or an ugly face she got, as long as she got a brilliant brain, ill be very much attracted!

But ofcos if shes beautiful AND got a brilliant brain too, that always fascinates me and attracts me more! :P I mean come on people isnt it human nature? :P

Beauty and brains come together with only one group of products in the market! Yep. im talking about the products of apple.

Right after a few days i lost my iphone, ive bought an iMac! (hey you, thats for you THIEF!) yeah its the one you see in focus computers display when you pass by the seagull restaurant! ;)

Lately ive been very much obsessed with the beauty of apple and its technology. The built in iSight camera, latest 802.11 Wi-Fi networking and Bluetooth technologies, the advanced graphics and the glossy wide screen display, the lovely mighty mouse and the easiest keyboard make the iMac my perfect choice! and ofcos the little ipod shuffle looking remote control which helps me play the songs on iTune even when im so lazy lying down on the bed!

This is like the perfect computer ive been dreaming and seriously this is a tech guy's dream! I havn't had much sleep after i bought this thing 2 days back! :P

I really dont wanna talk about the specs but you can read it here

But here is a lovely picture!

My Graffti on Haveeru

Monday, December 31, 2007
These days ive been very much addicted to this graffiti thing on facebook! I saw this group called MGA (Maldivian Graffiti Artist) on facebook and join that group to submit some of my graffiti's ive drawn for my friends on their walls. Anybody can join and show their art work here in MGA

But its very difficult to draw with only a brush and a limited color pellet and ofcos no other tool for any effects! And i use a lame mouse with a ball to draw all this, which really sucks. But some people use tablets too!

And two days back my sister called me and told me that she saw one of my graffiti on the daily news paper haveeru, which was really shocking! It really impressed me!

Police Service is NOT serving and protecting!

Sunday, November 25, 2007

They say Police service "to serve and protect" but i say Police service is crippled to serve and protect! And here is why?!?!?

As we all know, police service have been unable to control the gang fights and drugs all over the country. Still they haven't found all the "wanted" suspects of the recent murder! Maldivians do not feel safe anymore! How many deaths have they been "unable" to investigate? How many more there'd be concealed and hidden from the public? How many cases have been filed without coming to a conclusion? Imagine how crippled they'd be if Maldives was in a non-coastal region, an inland without the sea!

Recently after finding only two smugglers out of tens and hundreds, with around 3kgs of heroin (which is estimated to be enough for about a month in this country) they started boasting this happy news! But that was also with one of their fellow men who have been working "loyally" for the police services for more than 8 years! (doing what? smuggling drugs!) duh! How many more of them there'd be yet undiscovered? How many kilos of heroin are being smuggled every month?

It seems the Maldives police services is not serving Tea for the inmates in atholhu vehi and dhoonidhoo anymore. heheh! Because they are running out of budget, after so many himandhoo people, bongovvaa people and gang fight people were being arrested. Hello, Im talking about food here! A basic human need. And the inmates or "suspects" deserve to be "served" as they say in their motto "to protect and serve" no matter its Tea or serve one's right. I think Human Rights of Maldives need to be informed about this issue as well! Or is it the Food and beverages authority that should be responsible? :P tsk tsk

Police service is running out of cells too. In dhoonidhoo more than 3 people are being locked up in small cells actually made for only one person! In atholhuvehi all the 6 cells made for about 30 to 40 people per cell are full along with the joali fathi they've got in the compound area with "suspects" ."Suspects" sleeping on the floor, under the tables and even under the trees in the compound area! They are also running out of Hiatt hand cuffs they've been using. Which were brought from England before. Now they are using the recent "plasticuffs" The cheap rubber cuffs which looks like the clips you use when you are wiring the electricity. heheh

Since every Maldivian is now becoming a "suspect" for something or other. The government needs to build more jails for its people as our home minister mentioned recently in the news conference! Because the number of "island people" (not a discrimination) brought and offered jobs from the Police services increases each year, the number of people they suspect for some crime increases. Therefore the government needs to spend more money on suspects and criminals as much as they've been spending on the police man and women!

Maldivians aren't safe anymore!
Inside or out side their homes!
The time who'll strike? We never know!

[George Orwell did not say that! ;) ]

At the end, we all will become either a person serving and protecting the
BIG BROTHER [Credits to George Orwell]
or a suspect/criminal opposing and attacking the
BIG BROTHER
! [Credits to George Orwell]

"praise be upon him"
[Not George Orwell this time! But,Yeah the BIG BIG BROTHER we all know]
AMEN
